Andy Herron scored his eighth goal in 10 games to help the Chicago Fire tie the Houston Dynamo 2-2 Wednesday night. Herron converted a penalty kick in the 74th minute after Houston's Brad Davis took down Chicago's Chris Armas from behind. Herron's kick into the lower right corner of the goal tied it at 2.

Kenny Cooper's first MLS goal gives FC Dallas a 3-2 victory over the Chicago Fire in the first game of the league's season on Saturday.
