Wenger hopeful over Henry
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is optimistic striker Thierry Henry will reject the possibility of a move to Barcelona and stay with Arsenal next season.
The 28-year-old has been tipped to join the side that defeated Arsenal in Wednsday's Champions League final.
But when asked if he thought Henry would leave the club, Wenger said: "I don't know. I don't think so."
Diego Simeone named Estudiantes coach
Diego Simeone, who retired from Argentina's Racing Club in February to embark on a short-lived stint as its coach, announced Thursday he has found a new job as manager of rival Estudiantes of La Plata. Simeone will replace Jorge Burruchaga, who rejected contract renewal terms with Estudiantes in the middle of the Copa Libertadores.

Spurs sign Berbatov
Tottenham have agreed a deal to sign Bayer Leverkusen's Bulgarian striker Dimitar Berbatov.
The player has agreed personal terms and will sign on 1 July, subject to being granted a work permit.
Berbatov, 25, told Spurs' website: "Tottenham is a club that is building something special.
