Wolfgang Schaueble, responsible for event security, confirmed media reports that Neo-Nazis and the National Democratic Party (NPD) may stage demonstrations.

Red Bulls acquire Buddle from Crew for Gaven, Leitch (AP)
The New York Red Bulls sent midfielder Eddie Gaven and the rights to defender Chris Leitch to the Columbus Crew on Tuesday in exchange for forward Edson Buddle. The 24-year-old Buddle played four seasons for the Crew and scored 42 goals in 106 games. He is expected to help boost the Red Bulls' attack.

Colorado Advances in Shootout
Joe Cannon had 14 saves and made a diving stop of Roberto Mina's shot in the fifth round of the penalty-kick shootout last night to help Colorado beat host FC Dallas and advance to the Major League Soccer Western Conference final.
