Houston coach Kinnear gets extension (AP)
Houston coach Dominic Kinnear signed a two-year contract extension with the MLS team on Wednesday. Kinnear, the MLS coach of the year, guided the San Jose Earthquakes to an 18-4-10 record in 2005. The team moved to Houston last month. A contest is under way to name the team, which will begin play in April at the University of Houston's Robertson Stadium.
