Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder Kyle Martino will be sidelined six to eight weeks after undergoing surgery Friday to repair a torn labrum in his left hip. Martino suffered the injury trying to make a tackle in the second half of Saturday's 1-0 loss at Colorado. The surgery took place in Colorado. He has one assist in eight games with the Galaxy since being acquired on May 12 from Columbus.
