Real Salt Lake Edges Colorado to Win Home Debut
Brian Dunseth scored in the 81st minute and Real Salt Lake got its first MLS victory in its home debut, beating the Colorado Rapids, 1-0, yesterday.
Colorado Advances in Shootout
Joe Cannon had 14 saves and made a diving stop of Roberto Mina's shot in the fifth round of the penalty-kick shootout last night to help Colorado beat host FC Dallas and advance to the Major League Soccer Western Conference final.

Toronto soccer stadium passes final hurdle, clears way for MLS team (AP)
The city council approved funds for a proposed soccer stadium Thursday, clearing a major obstacle for the Canadian city to receive a Major League Soccer expansion team to begin play in 2007. The council endorsed the stadium plan 25-13 in a vote, agreeing to contribute $8.3 million and land worth $8.5 million for the 20,000-seat venue.
L.A.'s Hartman Becomes Winningest MLS Goalie
