Crew 1, Wizards 1 (AP)
Jose Burciaga Jr. scored in the 76th minute to lift the Kansas City Wizards to a 1-1 tie with the Columbus Crew on Wednesday night. Burciaga hit a left-footed shot into the Columbus goal after Diego Gutierrez tapped a free kick into Burciaga's path from about 23 yards away from goal. Mario Rodriguez scored the Crew goal in the 69th minute, following Simon Elliott's deflection off the right post.

Real Madrid Books Two US Matches
Yahoo: David Beckham, who captivated US football fans last month when England played two matches in America, will return again in July alongside his club teammates at Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid.

It's Not The Attendance
US National Soccer Players Association: At first glance, the attendance figures for Major League Soccer from last weekend don't look good. Only one team - D.C. United - drew more than 12,000 fans. San Jose and Chicago both failed to break the 10,000 mark. In fact, D.C. United had the only two attendances over 14,000 last week, drawing just over that for a midweek game against Chicago.
