Ballack denies Man Utd rumours
Michael Ballack has denied he had lined up a move to the Premiership with Manchester United.
There had been speculation earlier in the week that Ballack would would see out his contract with Bayern before joining United in 12 months time, but the German midfielder said he was happy at Bayern.
"I spoke with Bayern and it was a good discussion," said the 28-year-old.

Andy Williams scored the 5,000th goal in Major League Soccer history to help Real Salt Lake beat Chivas USA 2-1 on Saturday. The game was stopped for several minutes when Real's Clint Mathis was fouled hard by Jesus Ochoa in the 17th minute. Mathis fell to the ground and the ball bounced away, and Isaac Romo kicked the ball back at Mathis, hitting him in the elbow.
