Before you buy some shorts for your team, make sure you consider the following:
Don’t forget that teenage players don’t like shorts that look like they’re toddler soccer shorts! Shorts that are too short will anger your players, while shorts that are too long will get caught up on quick moves and plays. Shorts that are knee level are the best to play in.
A couple small items to consider is the drawstring and color of the Umbro soccer shorts you decide to purchase. Umbro makes good drawstrings, but other companies tend to break and tear, leaving the shorts useless. Also avoid white soccer shorts if you can, they’re see through and stain easily!
Other good options for soccer programs on a budget include score satin soccer shorts and discontinued nike soccer shorts. Also, you can always save some money buy one pair of soccer shorts per player to be used at both home and away games.
